Chi Nei Tsang and Cranio-Sacral Techniques. The focus of her practice was on the unwinding of the body’s core to release the body's natural healing energies. Her current focus is on teaching the art and practice of Chi Kung and Meditation through private sessions or group workshops. In 1992, Mary Beth met Gilles Marin, the Director/Senior Instructor of the Chi Nei Tsang Institute in Berkeley, CA. Intrigued, Mary Beth set forth on a six year exploration of Healing Tao meditations and exercises and Chi Nei Tsang. These studies earned her a certification of Advanced (Level III) Practitioner in Chi Nei Tsang. Mary Beth has also trained with Master Mantak Chia.
Other courses of study include Zero-Balancing with Fritz Smith at the Esalen Institute; Golden Fish Shiatsu with Gilles Marin; The Rosen Method Technique with Marion Rosen. In 1992-1993. Ms. Corbin studied Chinese medicine and herbalism with Michael Tierra, also Western herbalism with Christopher Hobbs. Mary Beth continued her education studying Cranio-Sacral Therapy through the Upledger and Esalen Institutes.
Personally,Mary Beth practices Chi-Kung (Qi Gong) Meditation and Yoga daily to maintain her own healing.
