  • How does Chi Nei Tsang differ from massage 
          Chi Nei Tsang literally translates  "internal organs energy massage", this practice addresses all the body systems, physical, mental, emotional    
          and spiritual. This healing art recognizes that the center of your being is in the belly region. Chi Nei Tsang treatment focuses primarily at the   
          core of the body, moving around and out from the navel center of the belly.  
  • Do you employ only Chi Nei Tsang techniques
          In addition to Chi Nei Tsang, I also practice Chi Kung, a movement therapy related to Chi Nei Tsang, Reiki, Cranio-Sacral Therapy.
          A combination of these techniques may be employed in my sessions as needed.
  • Are there any contraindications to consider before I come in for treatment
          Yes: Open Wounds, Recent surgeries - by doctors release only, obstructive edema, aneurysms.
          Please don't come for your treatment if you are suffering from a contagious acute infection or flu virus.
  • How long are the sessions                                                                                                                         
          Initial session is 1.5 -2 hrs. Follow-up sessions generally run 1.25 - 1.5 hrs. 
          I allow time between sessions in order to accommodate where the work might be taking us during the session.
  • Do I have to take my clothes off / What do I wear
          Clients are fully clothed, wearing soft, loose, comfortable clothing.
  • Is there a recommended after care protocol
         Drink lots of water, rest, use self care handout recommendations for the first 10 days after your treatment.
  • How often should I have treatment
          General recommendation: A follow-up treatment 2 - 4 weeks after your initial session. Average treatment continues for 3 - 5 sessions booked   
          2 weeks or so apart, continuing on an as needed basis after that. Many clients come in with the change of season for a rebalancing!
  • Do you accept insurance
         Many insurance companies allow you so many hands-on treatments per year with either a physical therapist or a massage practitioner. 
         Often they require a recommendation from your primary care physician. Your's may have such an allowance, but you would do your own 
         billing, I will provide you with a receipt.
  • What is the cost for treatment *
              $135.00 - Initial Session
              $110.00 - Follow-up Treatments
